On Tuesday, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took to social media and said that the trailer of his film The Vaccine War got no review by trade analysts. No one from the entertainment industry is talking about his film which is touted as India’s first bio-science film.
He shared a video of himself in which he can be heard asking netizens to watch the film and wrote, “VERY VERY IMPORTANT: Pl watch this video and understand ‘Bollywood Scam’. Please share with everyone as #TheVaccineWar is your film. Only you can burst this scam. #ATrueStory.”

Social media users reacted to his post, one of them wrote, “you keep making films we will always watch and make them hit …truth is always bitter don’t worry…good luck.” The second one said, “Please make movie on Khalistani Perpetrators with highlights of Operation Blue Star.” The third one said, “sir…. M plan kar raha hu… Last time ki tarah pure groop ko leke Film dekhne ka…. Bus Aap bhi Aa jana…” The fourth one said, “aap film bnao ar hmlog nh..dekhe..aesa kv huva hai ky……….”
Touted to be India’s first bio-science film, The Vaccine War is slated to release on September 28, 2023, and stars Nana Patekar, Pallavi Joshi, Anupam Kher, Sapthami Gowda, Raima Sen, Girja Oak, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Mohan Kapur and Vivek Prabhakar. The movie pays tribute to the medical fraternity of scientists and doctors who manufactured India’s own indgenious vaccine under the worst circumstances and succeeded, showing the immense pressure they were under and the many difficulties they faced.
The Vivek Agnihotri directorial will clash at the box office with Fukrey 3 on September 28. The threequel in the comedy franchise features Pankaj Tripathi, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, and Richa Chadha in the leading roles and has been directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
