Also starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan releases in cinemas worldwide this Thursday, September 7.
Shah Rukh Khan has millions of fans worldwide and these fans show their love towards the superstar in unique ways. One die-hard fan of SRK amped up the hype of his upcoming film Jawan by showcasing its advance booking promo at a billboard in the iconic Times Square, New York on Sunday night/Monday early morning (as per US time/India time).
The video of the same has been shared by the Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club group on its social media handles with the caption, “#JAWAN takes over the Times Square – @SRKgaurav1 takes it on air. The king sized celebration of the film by a FAN at the Times Square as we await the storm”. The clip has since then gone viral across the Internet.
Talking about Jawan’s advance booking, the Atlee directorial is set to break Shah Rukh Khan’s previous film Pathaan’s numbers. Jawan has already sold more than 2 lakh tickets at the three national cinema chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) within three days and with three more days ahead of its release, the tickets are going to be sold in record numbers.
The film, which will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages on Sptember 7 on the occasion of Janmashtami, is expected to take a monstrous opening at the box office. Many cinema halls across India have added extra morning shows for Thursday, seeing the audiences’ demand to see Jawan first day first show.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film features Nayanthara as the leading lady and Vijay Sethupathi as the main antagonist. Deepika Padukone will make a special appearance in the film. Jawan is a Red Chillies Entertainment presentation produced by Gauri Khan, and co-produced by Gaurav Verma.
