Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol starred together in the 1993 psychological romantic thriller film Darr, in which Deol wasn’t happy with how Shah Rukh’s villainous character was glorified.
Shah Rukh Khan attended the success party of Gadar 2 last night with his wife Gauri Khan. After the end of the pary, the Pathaan actor was seen posing with Sunny Deol for the shutterbugs. The photos and videos, shared by several paparazzi accounts, have gone viral on social media. Fans have reacted to the clip saying that the two actors should now collaborate together for Darr 2.
Recently, while doing his #AskSRK session on X (previously known as Twitter) while promoting his upcoming actioner Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan had said that he loved Gadar 2. In an interview, Deol had also shared that he received a call from Khan before the latter’s family watched the recent blockbuster.
Talking to Times Now, the Damini actor said, “Shah Rukh Khan had seen the film. Before that, he had called me and wished me well. He was so happy, and he told me ‘I’m so happy, you genuinely deserve it’ and I said thank you. Then I spoke to his wife (Gauri Khan) and his son (Aryan Khan). And he said tonight we are going to be watching this film. And after that, he had seen it, and I think that is when he tweeted. It was so beautiful. Many times I’ve also called him up and we shared our thoughts on certain things. About the past issues – whatever they were, I would say time heals everything and we move ahead. That’s the way life should be.”
The 1993 psychological romantic thriller Darr starred Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, and Sunny Deol in the lead roles. However, Deol wasn’t happy with how Shah Rukh’s villainous character was gloried and the latter stole the limelight in the entire film as its main antagonist. The Ghayal actor had famously said that he didn’t talk to the Baazigar actor for sixteen years after the Yash Chopra directorial was released. It seems that the two actors have now buried the hatchet between them, and ready to conquer the box office with their respective films.
