The promotions for Yash Raj Films’ Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif-starrer Tiger 3 have begun with a promotional video titled Tiger Ka Message.
Tiger has arrived. The promotional campaign for YRF Spy Universe’s Salman Khan-starrer Tiger 3 began in solid fashion on Wednesday with a special video featuring the superstar. The video – titled Tiger Ka Message – saw Salman deliver an important message for the fans.
The film sees Salman reprise his iconic role of superspy Avinash ‘Tiger’ Rathore and is set to release this Diwali. For weeks, had been eager as there had been no word on the promotion. Eventually, the film’s makers Yash Raj Films, chose September 27 – the birth anniversary of YRF’s founder Yash Chopra – as the day to kickstart the promotions of their biggest film to date.
Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi along with Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo, reprising his role from Pathaan, further bringing together the two films from the YRF Spy Universe. Tiger 3 is also expected to have links to War, the Hrithik Roshan-starrer which is also a part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe.
While the YRF Spy Universe canonically began with Ek Tha Tiger (2012), it wasn’t until Pathaan, which released earlier this year, that YRF merged Tiger, War, and Pathaan together to form one coherent cinematic universe. Tiger 3 is set to take that ahead. The film, directed by Maneesh Sharma, is set to release in theatres this Diwali.
