While taking an indirect di at Kangana Ranaut, Ranveer said Karan Johar praised him and wanted to give him credit for dialogues in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, however, he denied it.
Ranveer Singh, who recently featured in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani alongside Alia Bhatt, took an indirect dig at Kangana Ranaut in his recent interview. The video is now going viral on social media.
In the viral clip, Ranveer can be heard saying that Karan Johar praised him and wanted to give credit to him for dialogues in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, however, he denied it. He said, “Karan said ‘I will give additional dialogue credit’. But I was like ‘No, I don’t want that’. It’s our (actors) responsibility to take something and better it. If you can’t, what are you doing there? So, I don’t want any additional dialogue credit. I know there are some actors who have taken it, but this is not my style.”
Is he shading Kangu? Or somebody else?

Social media users think he took a dig at Kangana Ranaut who was given an additional dialogue writer of the film Queen. Later her film Simraan also sparked controversy over dialogue credits in 2017. Fans reacted to the clip, one of them wrote, “Le kangu on Instagram: These mafias have been jealous of how to complete as an artist I am. They don’t have the guts to directly call my name because they are afraid of me.”
The second one said, “Kangu ki bezzati, rant on insta coming for you Ranveer.” The third one said, “Oh ya I remember she called not a mard because of Rocky Rani.” The fourth one said, “Is it Kangu only? She was my guess because she has bragged quite a bit about it. But idk, are there any other actors who have got dialogue credit?” The fifth one said, “He probably never ever even thinks about Kangana remotely let alone care enough to shade her.”
The sixth one said, “Kangana actually directed the whole movie. According to her.” The seventh one said, “Kangana got additional dialogue credit for Queen and she truly deserved it. The dialogues which you can look up in the script that’s available online are very different from what end result.” The eight one said, “kangana didn’t demand dialogue credit on Queen, she herself said kashyap gave it to her as she had improvised a lot and he felt she deserved credit… there’s noting wrong to get credited for something an actor has done.”
