Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot with each other on Sunday, September 24, at The Leela Palace hotel in Udaipur in the presence of family and close friends. The couple landed in the Rajasthan city on Friday and their pre-wedding festivities began on Saturday with a welcome luncheon and a 90s themed party in the night.
As per a report in Pinkvilla, popular singer Navraj Hans, who is the son of Hans Raj Hans and son-in-law of Daler Mehndi, entertained the guests last night. The pary menu included Maggi and candy floss counters to take back the guests to the 90s era. Each of the guests was also given a special casette with a personalised message, curated by the actress herself.
Parineeti and Raghav’s wedding rituals will begin on Sunday with Anand Karaj ceremony in the morning and the Hindu wedding ceremony in afternoon, as per the reports. The reception gala will take place at the Leela Palace Courtyard in the night. Multiple Bollywood celebrities and top politicians are expected to attend the ceremony today.
It was in May when the duo exchanged rings at the Kapurthala house in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. The star-studded ceremony was attended by several politicians including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, former finance minister P Chidambaram, and Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti Chopra will be seen next in Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue opposite Akshay Kumar. The upcoming film is the biopic of chief mining engineer Jaswant Singh Gill, who rescued 65 miners during the Raniganj Coalfields collapse in 1989. The film will hit theatres on October 6.
