As per a media report, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui has been asked to vacate her Dubai home due to non-payment of rent.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s estranged wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, is living with their kids, daughter Shora and son Yani in Dubai. If the media report is to be believed, Aaliya has received an evacuation notice from the Dubai government. As ETimes reported, officials from Dubai’s Rental Disputes Centre paid Aaliya a visit at her residence with a notice of evacuation.
Aaliya received the evacuation notice from the Dubai government over the non-payment of rent. The portal quoted a source who stated that after the Bombay High Court order, Nawazuddin had to make financial transactions, but he is failing to do the needful.
Reportedly, the notice ordered Aaliya to evacuate the property due to non-payment of rent and demanded a rental value of 27,183.00 dirhams (Rs 6,14,586 after conversion). If she fails to do so legal action will be taken. As per the information provided in the report, Aaliya will approach the Indian embassy in Dubai today.
Back in May, the portal quoted Aaliya, stating that Nawazuddin was visiting them for a property issue. She even expressed that the Dubai house agreement should be changed to Nawazuddin’s name. Aaliya told the media portal, “He is going to be the provider, and then if anything goes wrong here for us, it will give them more security if he holds the reins.”
Earlier this year, Aaliya participated in Bigg Boss OTT 2 and got evicted in the second week of the show. After getting eliminated, Aaliya spoke to DNA and she addressed the partiality of host Salman Khan towards her. When Aaliya was asked if she was targeted for discussing her life in the house, Aaliya said, “Maine apne baare mein baat kar li, par uss baat ko le ke mujhe target karna, yeh mujhe samaj nahi aaya (Yes, I shared my past in the house, but, I didn’t understand why I was targeted for that). Everyone was discussing their personal life. Why was I targeted?”
Aaliya even shared her views on Salman’s comment about her during Weekend Ka Vaar and asserted that Khan was biased towards her, as he supported Nawazuddin. When asked if Salman was biased, she said, “100%,” and continued, “Salman unhi ka saath denge jo unke ird-gird hai. Ek star, dusre star ko hi support karenge (Salman will support who’s close to him. A star will support another star).”
