Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, who is making her OTT debut with Jaane Jaan which also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma, said that she is more nervous now than her debut time when she was 23.

I am nervous as people are going to watch me so closely on their screens. Everyone’s doing such good work on OTT, I didn’t want to be left behind. Sujoy Ghosh (director, Jaane Jaan) and I have been wanting to work together for over a decade, so I am glad this happened. I got to learn so much from my costars, Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma.”

Kareena Kapoor revealed that Saif warned her about Vijay Varma, and Jaideep Ahlawat and asked her to up her game. Kareena said, “Saif had told me, ‘It’s not like van se make-up laga kar tum set pe jaake dialogue bologi! Please stop this attitude. You are working with Jaideep and Vijay. Be prepared to be on your toes. They are going to be improvising. It won’t be a picnic’. So he had warned me. Hence, like a student, I was constantly alert. Saif even said, ‘Stop being the backbencher. Aage ke bench mein aake kuch karo’. I was like, Yeah, yeah’!”

Speaking at the trailer launch of Jaane Jaan, Kareena Kapoor Khan said, “I am so excited the trailer is finally yours to see! This is the first time audiences will see me in a thriller, playing something gritty like this. Jaane Jaan was a script that I had to say YES to the first time I heard of it. I have always told Sujoy the USP of this film is its cast and I had a superb time working with Jaideep and Vijay. I can’t wait for Netflix audiences to enjoy Jaane Jaan.”
