Casting director Mukesh Chhabra reacts to fan theory of Jawan being inspired by international crime thriller series Money Heist.
In 12 days, Shah Rukh Khan will return to the big screen with his much-awaited actioner Jawan. In Atlee’s directorial Khan is seen having different avatars, with shades of hero and villain. In his grey-shade avatar, Shah is also leading his gang of skilled, badass women. While most of the fans are waiting to witness the entertainer on the big screen, a few of them have come up with their own theories about the film.
One of the SRK fans has drawn a comparison between Jawan and the popular international web show Money Heist. In the acclaimed series, Professor leads a team of skilled gang members including Tokoyo and Nairobi. So has the makers of Jawan adapted the structure of the narrative in their film?
Casting director Mukesh Chhabra, who has been closely related to this project, reacted to this fan theory. In one of the conversations with journalist Faridoon Shahyar, when Mukesh was about Jawan being inspired by Money Heist, he refused it, and said, “Jitne logo ko guess karna hai karte rahiye. Jab Jawan bahar aayegi toh aapko pata chalega aapne dekha. Trailer ke baad mujhe itne messages aaye, but I didn’t disclose. I want you all to wait and witness it on the big screen.” Mukesh has done the casting in the film, and he’s also a fan of Shah Rukh Khan. So, Jawan is a special film for him, and he is confident that Jawan will surprise SRK fans in a big way.

On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan took to his Instagram and shared a new poster unveiling his various looks from Jawan and titled them ‘many faces of justice’. The poster shows the different looks of the actors from the movie. SRK unveiled a total of 5 looks from the movie with intense background music. Jawan will release in the cinemas on September 7.
