Kajol, in her recent interview, shared some parenting tips and revealed that both her children Nysa and Yug are not afraid of trying something new in life.
Bollywood actor Kajol’s daughter Nysa Devgan often makes headlines, she is one of the most popular star kids. Her photos and videos often go viral on social media as she already has a huge fan following even making Bollywood debut.
Meanwhile, Kajol, in her recent interview, shared some parenting tips and revealed that both her children are not afraid of trying something new in life. The actress recently appeared at Safar with Bhaav show, where she opened up about her parenting style. She said, “Both my children today, are not afraid to try new things or pursue their unique interests. They know, ‘Okay, Mom’s got our backs’. And I assure them, ‘Yes, I’ve got your back. Don’t worry about it.”
She credited her mother and veteran actress Tanuja who instilled the quality of accepting everything and everyone without judging. She said, “My mother had this uncanny ability to accept pretty much everything around her. I don’t think she ever gave us a basis for any kind of -ism. Whether it had to do with color, gender, or whatever. I had one of the most amazingly forward-thinking upbringings.”
Kajol further said, “We grew up with the fact that everything was okay. Everything was a norm. At the same time, gave me the right to live as and how I please. It’s all ok as long as you are not going out and hurting somebody, or doing something horrible.”
Earlier, in a conversation with Hindustan Times, Kajol revealed her advice for her daughter Nysa Devgn on getting trolled for her paps pics and said, “I do talk to my kids Nysa (20) and Yug (12) about trolling and tell them that the only thing they can do is take it with a pinch of salt. I mean how many of these trolls you can take seriously? Or how will you respond to everything? Because roz kuch na kuch nikal raha hai, roz kuch na kuch bol rahe hain.”
She added, “I read some headlines that say ‘brutally trolled’. And I’m like, ‘What does it exactly mean and who are these people brutally trolling me or my family?’ Also, saying that an actor got brutally trolled for wearing a pair of shoes and going to the airport is too much. One has to take it with a pinch of salt and have that bit of sense of humour.”
