Amit Sadh reveals how bikes transformed him as a person and talks about his bike expedition from Mumbai to Leh.
Amit Sadh, a renowned actor known for his performances in Avrodh, Sultan, Jeet Ki Zid, Breathe, and more, has caught the nation’s attention with his remarkable bike expedition. The actor will be traveling from Mumbai to Leh, with the aim of celebrating India’s culture and engaging with the people he meets along with way.
Amit Sadh’s bike expedition reached Delhi after encompassing a route from Balaisor, to Ahmedabad, Jodhpur, and Jaipur. In an exclusive chat with DNA, the actor revealed how bikes have transformed him into a better person and also recalled a warm welcome by the people of Jodhpur during his journey to Leh.
Amit Sadh revealed that biking has taught him discipline and said, “I just think any passion transforms you because that passion takes you to places and makes you meet people. People and places inspire. They change you because of certain bonds. There is a certain discipline. Right now I am driving and there is a certain discipline. I have to wake up at a certain time and reach for a press conference at a certain time, I can’t be crying because I am tired. I just feel the synergy that comes out of it. Either you are a believer or you are not a believer, If you want to get inspired then don’t ask how much you have traveled or done, it only takes a second to get the inspiration. Even a sunset can inspire you. The love I still get from the people and I am getting for my trip, I am humbled by it.”
The actor also shared how people in Jodhpur gave him a warm welcome and also performed their traditional dance for him and said, “In Jodhpur, when I stopped there for a while, people there did a 5-minute performance of their traditional dance just for me. Then there were these two ladies who came to meet me and they covered their faces because they were proper Rajasthani ladies. I tried to see their faces but was scolded by an old lady there. So being a little mischievous is okay. But so far so good.”
The actor further shed light on how important it is to travel solo once in a lifetime and said, “I think the more time you spend with yourself, whether it is by traveling or sitting at home, it is better. I just feel you have to know yourself for you to go and engage with others. That is like a discipline. You cannot suddenly decide one day that you won’t eat food for 10 days. So I just feel when you are honest with yourself and know you’re good and bad, you make it better. So alone time I think is a must. I spend a lot of time alone because there I get to know what I am doing right and wrong. Spending time alone is very healing.”
Reflecting on his journey, Amit Sadh said, “his expedition has been an experience like no other. Jaipur to Delhi was a challenging ride, but every moment on this journey has been a testament to the beauty of India and the warmth of its people. I’m overwhelmed by the love and support I’ve received throughout, and this reinforces my belief in the unity and diversity of our incredible nation.”
