After making an announcement of Don 3 on Tuesday, Farhan Akhtar has finally unveiled the first look of the movie starring Ranveer Singh. Earlier the actor and director faced huge backlash for replacing Shah Rukh Khan in the threequel, however, now the fans can be seen defending the replacement.
On Wednesday, Farhan Akhtar dropped an intriguing first look at Ranveer Singh replacing Shah Rukh Khan in Don 3. The video went viral on social media. One of the Reddit users shared the video on the platform and netizens were seen defending the actor and found the first look exciting.

There are also reports that Kiara Advani will be roped in for the role of Roma in the movie, netizens also expressed their wish as to whom they want to play Roma opposite Ranveer Singh. One of the comments read, “Now please cast Deepika Padukone as Roma.” Another wrote, “Roma needs to be Deepika Padukone, their chemistry will kill it.”
On Tuesday, after announcing the movie, Farhan Akhtar took to his Instagram and issued a statement, “In 1978, a character created by Salim-Javed and portrayed by Mr. Amitabh Bachchan with effortless elan, captured the imagination of theatergoers across the country. That enigmatic character was Don. In 2006, Don was reimagined and brought to life by Shah Rukh Khan in his own irresistibly charming way.”
The statement further read, “From Don’s sardonic wit to his cool but menacing fury, Shah Rukh embodied his persona. As a writer & director, I had a great time creating not one but two, ‘Don’ films with Shah Rukh, and both experiences remain very close to my heart. The time has now come to take the legacy of Don forward and joining us in this new interpretation will be an actor whose talent and versatility I have long admired. We hope that you will show him the love you have so graciously and generously shown to Mr Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. A new era of Don begins in 2025. Watch this space.”
