At a recent event, Kiara Advani revealed that she was just 8 months old when she faced the camera for the first time.
Kiara Advani, who is one is the most successful actresses in Bollywood, won hearts with her performances in movies like Kabir Singh and MS Dhoni – The Untold Story. But, the most astonishing thing about her career is that she has grown up surrounded by cameras.
The actress’ family had been regularly involved in the making of many films. Her maternal family is related to many celebrities like Actors Ashok Kumar and Saeed Jaffrey.
Recently, Kiara stunned the audience with her ethereal look at the IAA Leadership Awards. After winning the Best Endorser of the Year at award show, she shared her story on the stage while giving the speech.
The actress starred in an old TV commercial when she was just 8 months old with her mother. The brand advertisement was for a baby product and Kiara was the baby in it, alongside her mother Genevieve Advani. Kiara was featured as a happy infant while her mother promotes several goods, including a baby cream.
Kiara has come quite far after her first appearance in front of the camera. She made her acting debut with the comedy Fugly in 2014. Since then, she has made appearances on the big screen in more somber parts, such as Shershaah (2021) and Guilty (2020).
Videos of her speech have gone viral in the last 24 hrs on social media where she said, “Now, winning the Brand Endorser of the Year award truly feels like I’ve come whole circle so thank you to each and every brand that has put their faith in chosing me as their face and the audience for believing in everything I do. ” The actress described her experience as truly ‘humbling and gratifying.’
In conversation with Hungama Digital Media’s Neeraj Roy, she explained how she realised the true meaning of ‘endorsing a brand’ whilst maintaining authenticity. She said, “When I started, it felt like endorsements were a perk of the job as an actor. When it came to brands wanting to associate with me, I lent my name to those I was personally consuming or the ones I believed in. I looked for similar, shared values in the brands. As I went along, I realised that on social media millions of people follow, trust and respect you. With that comes a sense of responsibility and you don’t want to let them down. It’s your responsibility to stay authentic and that’s what I think I am,”
Apart from this, Kiara recently spent time with army Jawans at the Wagah Border, after she returned from her birthday vacation with husband and actor Siddharth Malhotra. Her latest film Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aryan has done well in the theatres. Her other movies like Jug Jug Jeeyo and Laxmii have also earned popularity.
