Actor Kartik Aaryan reacted when a fan asked him to marry her at the Indian Film Festival in Melbourne.
Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan recently visited Melbourne for special screening of his latest movie Satyaprem ki Katha at the Indian Film Festival. The event was followed by an interaction with Australian fans and a discussion about the cinematic experience. During the question-answer round, a fan asked Kartik if he would marry her.
The video of the same is now going viral on social media. The female fan said, “I might never get a chance to ask you this question ever again so ‘will you marry me?” The whole auditorium turned into a loud pack with fans hooting at the top of their lungs. Fans cheered at the question and awaited Kartik’s response. Kartik had the cutest reaction and responded by saying, “Seedha aapne…Ek yahan prem katha pooch rahe hai, ek yahan shaadi ka proposal diya. Yahan ho kya raha hai? Yahan swayamvar lag raha hai mera. Great welcome at Melbourne. (So forward…One fan asked for my love story, while another wants to marry me. What is happening. I have received a whole Swayamvar. Great welcome at Melbourne).”
As Kartik tried to come up with a response, the fan set the proposal aside and asked for a hug instead. To which Kartik agreed and embraced the fan in a friendly hug.

The film, Satyaprem ki Katha has been directed by Sameer Vidwans and stars Kiara Advani with Kartik Aaryan in the lead roles. The movie dropped just a few months ago and has been doing well in the theatres. The story gives a new dimension to the world of rom-coms and tries to combat social issues as well in the process.
Kartik Aaryan also just revealed an upcoming film in the works for him called Chandu Champion. Directed by Kabir Khan, the movie involves the incredible real life story of a sportsman and is set to release sometime in June 2024.
