Though the trailer failed to impress the viewers, the film came in as a surprise and received positive reviews from critics and moviegoers, who saw the film on its first day of theatrical release.
This led to a decent increase in the collections of Thank You For Coming as the film earned Rs 1.40 crore (early estimates) on its second day, which is 30% more than its opening day of Rs 1.06 crore, as per the entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.com. The numbers of Rs 2.46 crore in the two days may not look good, but considering its limited release at around 550 screens and A-rating, the film is doing exceptionally well.
