Bobby Deol penned a heartfelt note for his nephew Rajveer Deol as the latter’s debut film Dono released in cinemas on Thursday.

As Sunny Deol’s younger son, Rajveer Deol’s debut film, Dono has been released, his uncle, Bobby Deol penned a heartwarming note for the new beginning. On Thursday, Bobby Deol shared a photo in which he is seen holding Rajveer.

In the heartwarming Instagram post, Bobby Deol penned down a heartfelt message to convey his excitement and pride while wishing him lots of success on his journey. He wrote, “I can’t wait for tonight! You have worked so hard for this day beta and finally, the moment has arrived when we all will see you living your dream on the big screen. 28 years back this day was a very special day in my life when my first film was released and today it’s become even more special because my Rajveer’s first film is releasing. We all are very proud of you! God Bless you!!”

Rajveer, who was touched by his chacha’s heartfelt message, responded in the comments section, saying, “Thank you so much chachu.” This sweet family appreciation moment is winning the hearts of fans.

For the unversed, Bobby Deol’s debut film, Barsaat was released in cinemas on September 30, 1995. Cut to 2023, his nephew’s film Dono is releasing five days after September 30.

 

While promoting Dono with DNA, Rajveer lauded Bobby’s stint in OTT with Aashram, and said, “I think for my chacha it’s incredible how he got into a character which is so different from what he used to do in movies. It takes a lot of guts to do that.” Rajveer further revealed that his family firmly believes that his elder brother, Karan Deol’s wife, and his sister-in-law, Drisha Acharya, have brought good fortune to the family, “My brother got married, and my sister-in-law brought us so much good fortune. All of us at home truly believe that.” Dono is the directorial debut of Sooraj Barjatya’s son, Avnish Barjatya, and the movie also marks the Bollywood debut of Poonam Dhillon’s sister Paloma. Bobby Deol, on the work front, will next be seen in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. The movie will be released in cinemas on December 1.
