Deepika Padukone opens up on her equation with Shah Rukh Khan, talks about Pathaan’s success on box office.
Deepika Padukone made her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om and over the time their chemistry in several movies like Chennai Express, Pathaan and more has impressed fans. Recently, the actress was seen sharing the screen with SRK in Jawan as her wife and though she had a cameo, their chemistry became the talk of the town. The actress recently opened up on her equation with Shah Rukh.
In a recent interview with The Week, Deepika Padukone called Shah Rukh Khan her ‘lucky charm’ and talked about her equation with him. The actress said, “We are each other’s lucky charm. But honestly, we are beyond luck. We have a sense of ownership over each other.”
She added, “I am one of the few people he is vulnerable with. There is so much trust and respect, and I think that luck is just the cherry on the top.”
The actress also talked about the success of Pathaan and said, “I’ve never been fascinated by numbers whether it was Maths in school or the numbers of Pathaan. I was just happy that cinemas had come alive again, that people had come alive again. I was really grateful for that.”
Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has worked together in movies like Pathaan, Om Shanti Om, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Jawan and all these movies were a blockbuster. The duo chemistry in each of the movies mesmerised fans.
While Shah Rukh Khan is currently enjoying the success of his latest release Jawan, the actor will be next seen in the movie Dunki helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Deepika Padukone on the other hand will be seen in Fighter helmed by Sidharth Anand. The movie also stars Hrithik Roshan and Anil Kapoor and is scheduled to release on January 25.
