Ridhi Dogra reveals Deepika Padukone’s sweet gesture while she was sitting alone on Jawan sets won her heart.
Ridhi Dogra who essayed the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s mother (Kaveri Amma) in Jawan, is currently enjoying the success of her latest release. Recently, The actress talked about how Deepika Padukone’s sweet gesture won her heart.
In a recent conversation with Zoom, Ridhi Dogra recalled Deepika Padukone’s sweet gesture while she was sitting alone which won her heart. The actress said, “One day, Deepika and her entire team were on set. There was the monitor, and we were sitting behind it. This beautiful thing happened, and she won my heart. Sometimes on sets, there are personal chats and personal banter. I remember sitting a bit behind them as I wanted to give them (Deepika) privacy, and I wanted to have privacy of my own.”
She added, “I could see from my peripheral vision that Deepika had pulled her chair back to sit in the same line as me. It was a very small thing, but it spoke very highly of her. I was deeply touched by her solidarity and gratitude that we are actors together.”
She also talked about Shah Rukh Khan’s gesture that won her heart and said, “He came up to me
after the screening, as he was going to everybody else, and thanked me for being a part of the film. Oh common! You don’t have to say that. I thank you (SRK) for doing what you do. Thank you for this
amazing film.”
Deepika Padukone recently impressed fans with her cameo in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. The actress was seen romancing SRK’s Vikram Rathore in the movie which mesmerized fans. The actress is being well-appreciated by the audience for her performance in the movie. Other than Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt also had a small cameo in the movie.
Helmed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi along with Priyamani, Lehar Khan, Sanya Malhotra, and Aaliyah Qureshi among others in key roles. Released on September 7, the movie has already crossed Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office and Ra 500 crore mark worldwide.
