A line from Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan trailer has fans wondering if it is a message from the actor.
The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film Jawan is finally here. The film is all set to release in a week’s time and the belated release of the trailer has made the fans quite happy. Many of the actor’s fans were worried about the delay in the release of the trailer. But now that it is here, the analysis of top moments, Easter eggs, and even supposed hidden messages is on. Among this is a theory that a line in the trailer is the actor’s ‘message’ for some people.
In Jawan’s trailer, there is a moment when Shah Rukh Khan’s character says ‘bete ko haath lagane se pehle baap se baat kar (before you mess with my son, talk to his father)’. Notably, when this line plays, the producer credit of Gauri Khan flashes on the screen. Fans have cut this portion out, sharing it on social media as some sort of proof that the line and Gauri’s name there is Shah Rukh’s message to people.
The context is that in 2020, Shah Rukh’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau after a drug raid aboard a cruise shop. However, no narcotics were found on Aryan. After spending three weeks in jail, Aryan was let out on bail and eventually cleared of all charges. A report from the NCB even suggested that the charges against him were motivated, putting the agency’s deputy director Sameer Wankhede in cross hairs.

SRK has given a clear message to Sameer Wankhede & his handlers in Delhi through #JawanTrailer. Also the screen says ‘Produced by Gauri Khan’ when you hear this dialogue 🙂 pic.twitter.com/DuaJ1q3WEG

Many fans felt that this was Shah Rukh’s message to people who came after his son without actually naming anyone. A tweet used the screenshot of the moment from the trailer with the caption “Wankhede”. Another read, “This is a clear message to Aryan and Shah’ haters.”
Jawan, directed by Atlee in his Hindi debut, also stars Nayanthara, who is also making her entry in Hindi cinema. The film has Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist and features Deepika Padukone in a special appearance. Jawan is set to release in theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu and is being billed as Shah Rukh’s first ‘pan-India’ film.
