According to reports filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani is planning to start working on Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki’s teaser at the earliest.
While Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming movie Jawan, his fans are also eagerly waiting for an update on his film with Rajkumar Hirani titled Dunki. Now, if the reports are to be believed, the teaser of the film will be released this Diwali.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, an industry source told the entertainment portal, “The teaser of the most awaited film of the year, Rajkumar Hirani’s directorial Dunki starring Shah Rukh Khan might arrive in Diwali season. Raju sir is planning to release the Dunki teaser on Diwali and is planning to start working on the same at the earliest.”
The report also stated that as Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is also releasing on Diwali (November 10), the teaser of Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki might be attached to Maneesh Sharma’s directorial.
Rajkumar Hirani and Shah Rukh Khan have collaborated for the very first time on a film. Dunki also stars Taapsee Pannu and revolves around illegal immigration via the Donkey Flight method. The film has been making headlines since its announcement and fans can’t wait to see Shah Rukh Khan’s charm and Hirani’s directorial brilliance on screen. The film is reported to release in December 2023, however, there has been no official confirmation about the release date of the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan recently made a smashing comeback on the big screen with his film Pathaan which also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham among others. Helmed by Siddharth Anand, the movie collected Rs 1000 crore worldwide and garnered immense love from the audience.
Now, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in the movie Jawan which is said to be his most expensive film till date with a whopping budget of Rs 300 crore. Helmed by Atlee, the movie stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi along with Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Yogi Babu, and Sunil Grover among others. The movie is slated to release in theatres on September 7.
